Visitor Services Assistants (part time, temporary)
2 x 29 hours per week £14,028 per annum pro rata
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our Visitor Services Team this summer.
As a Visitor Services Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors. You should have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with a variety of people on a daily basis and be interested in museums and heritage.
You must have good attention to detail and be dedicated to maintaining high standards of visitor service and building presentation. You will require good IT and manual handling skills; DIY
skills are desirable.
The posts involve weekend working and days will vary from week to week so it is essential that you are flexible and reliable.
Both posts are temporary from Monday 15 July 2013 and are expected to last until September 2013.
The post will be offered subject to satisfactory medical and employment references and an enhanced DBS Check (this replaces CRB checks) as all staff of Scarborough Museums Trust may spend time with children and vulnerable adults.
