Visiting Scarborough Collections

Woodend Scarborough

Scarborough Collections are not on permanent public view. The collections themselves are held in modern storage facilities in the basement of Woodend. We arrange various themed tours throughout the year for the public (all of which start at the Art Gallery). Alternatively they can be accessed by appointment. Please call 01723 384503 for further details.

Enquiries & Donations

We welcome enquires from members of the public, academics, the media, in fact anybody who has an interest in our collections.  To arrange an enquiry please contact Collections Manager Jennifer Dunne on 01723 384510 or Collections Assistant Julie Baxter,  01723 384503.

Please note that whilst you are of course welcome to come to either the Art Gallery or the Rotunda with an enquiry, or possible donation, our front of house staff may be able to assist with some identifications, but they will not be able to accept any object without an appointment with a member of staff.  Also if you arrive without an appointment there is no guarantee a member of staff will be free to see you, it is best to book an appointment to be certain!
