All of our individually designed workshops and sessions are intrinsically linked to our collections. This means that in the main they focus on Art, Geography, History and Science as well as Literacy and Numeracy.
Our KS 3 & 4 Learning Packages are currently provided on a bespoke basis. Workshops can be used as stand alone sessions, as full day workshops or taken sequentially. Sessions are often run on a project basis with a combination of visits into schools, self guided visits in our venues and guided workshop sessions.
Access to subject specific areas of the museum collections can be arranged - an example of which; KS 3 & 4 pupils will often visit to draw objects from our Natural History Collections.
Once you have booked - What next?
Once you have contacted the Learning Team a letter of confirmation will be sent to you containing details of your booking, along with any important pre-visit information.
We will make every effort to ensure you and your group have an enjoyable day. We also have a responsibility to other Museum visitors, therefore pupils must be under adult supervision at all tmes.
